VIDEO EDITOR

DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor who can bring stories to life through creative editing. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Solid understanding of video editing techniques, including pacing, storytelling, and visual composition.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Proven 8+years of work experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Solid understanding of video editing techniques, including pacing, storytelling, and visual composition.
- Strong knowledge of color grading, motion graphics, and visual effects.
- Ability to work with various video formats and codecs.
- Proficient in audio editing and sound mixing.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Creativity and the ability to think outside the box to deliver engaging video content.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A portfolio or reel showcasing previous video editing work is highly desirable.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with the creative team and clients to understand project requirements, objectives, and desired outcomes.
- Review raw footage and select the best shots for editing.
- Trim and assemble footage to create a seamless, visually appealing narrative.
- Enhance video quality by adjusting brightness, color grading, and applying visual effects.
- Edit audio tracks, including voiceovers, sound effects, and background music, to ensure high-quality audio.
- Incorporate transitions, titles, and motion graphics to enhance the overall video presentation.
- Ensure video output is optimized for various platforms and formats, including social media, websites, and presentations.
- Continuously stay updated with industry trends, techniques, and video editing software to enhance skills and deliver high-quality work.
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and contribute innovative ideas for video projects.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Ensure proper backup and organization of project files and media assets.
